But... within the next few business days, all 4 rims are getting fixed(pothole rash from my blown tire and rocks chips and I’m also getting the car buffed and the rock chips/small scratches touched up!
It’s the price for living in a state where it’s almost always green.

I’ve been there before.

Yup. I have 3 black cars and one dark grey. I don’t even love black cars, I just seem to find good value on black cars.

Isn’t Springtime awesome? Except that half the country is freezing their ass off under snow and ice.

With the way the weather is at the moment here in the U.K. I’m going to have to start using my anti static summer car shampoo. Does a great job of keeping dust down.

It rained out of the blue yesterday (I say out of the blue because usually when rain is in the forecast everyone talks about it days beforehand), and both e-Golfs came out clean.
I was rather happy with that. Thank you CarPro Reload.

Gtechniq UV Wash, is a marine vessel shampoo rather than a car, aircraft or around the house shampoo wash that leaves behind a UV blocking coat, but it also has anti static properties, reducing that build up of dust on most but flat horizontal surfaces but does reduce it’s adhesion on those surfaces.

If you look in the ‘marine’ section of Gtechniqs website. There is UV Wash. It’s a marine vessel shampoo wash that leaves a UV blocking coat behind, but also has anti static properties reducing the build up of atmospheric dust on all but flat horizontal surfaces, but does reduce adhesion of the dust on those surfaces.

I just need to be able to get in ‘MERICA. Land of the free where we can’t get anything.

You should be able to get it from Gtechniq to you in the U.S.
It’s not mentioned on the marketing any more but I did do a ‘test’ some time ago on two similar cars, painted the same colour by the same manufacturer than did the same home to work route and sure enough the UV washed without the C2v3 top coated one showed less dust and oddly no bird bombs.

Well I basically have to worry about dust year round since it doesn’t ever rain, should I be using the UV wash all of the time? Does it have the same lubrication and cleaning power as regular Gwash?

Gtechniq sells it here, but free shipping requires $250.
But check detailedimage.com and Autogeek; that’s where I get miscellaneous Gtechniq stuff in between my big UK orders.

It does but it’s not a product you coat over with Reload, C2v3, etc...
It’s a shampoo, rinse and dry product.
Do I have your address? E-mail me it just in case and I’ll send some for you to try.
